  2. Summer arriving with gusto here in New York, complete with a slow-arriving, not too powerful afternoon thunderstorm.

That's my weather report, but I also wanted to send you some kind words on the recent loss of someone dear to you.

I am an age that once was continued old, but nowadays is not all that old. All the same, I am becoming reflective and more and more respective of folks who have gone before.

    Best wishes to you.

  3. Not so very different from your weather I suspect. Wind, rain the occasional glimpse of watery sunshine. We too put the heating on for a little while last night:)

  4. The rain was torrential, all the way to Woolfest, and all the way back! Dry here today but very overcast, and windy. Hope the sun's come out for you, and your son :D

  6. It was really hot at the beginning of last week but on Thursday the rain and cooler weather began and I have to say that I am really happy to have it! I apologise to the rest of the world but this weather is just right for Ted. The heat made him so poorly that I thought we would loose him. He is back to his usual self again and for that I am truly grateful. Sending hugs, Sxx

  7. Many thanks for your comment on my blog - I will indeed enjoy having the bees whilst I can then! We had a wasps nest just outside our bedroom window on the dormer last summer and not once did we have a wasp indoors - my live and let live policy seems to work!
