We had a little trip out yesterday to Llandudno. We went across to West Shore as you can park just a short walk from the prom(50 yds). There by the children's play ground was an adult playground. All these pieces of equipment had the instructions on the side.Myself, being on crutches, could not have a go but C did try a few out. What a great idea.
We had a short walk, yes,me,on crutchesThen it was over the bridge, through Conway and onto the Mulberry Pub at the Marina for lunch. What a view to look at and a glorious blue sky as well.
I have written about the Mulberry Pub before. It was here that the Mulberry Landing harbours of WW2 were designed and tested and the pub is full of interesting memorabilia.
Doesn't a blue sky raise your spirits?
My local parks have these free adult gyms. I use them occasionally and agree they are brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI've seen wooden exercise bars and etc on woodland walks but never the kind in your photo, it is a good idea:)
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously considering suggesting the idea to our local council ... could really do with the impetus to start exercising. Lovely photos, blue skies do make such a difference.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Lovely photos. Ros
ReplyDeleteWe have similar 'workout' equipment in our local playing field with full instructions on each thing. I find it all slightly odd. I think the council had too much money left in its budget and just thought, what the heck, let's put this stuff on the playing field!? xCathy
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely day out. The blue sky makes such a difference doesn't it. I felt so happy the last couple of days and we actually managed a trip to the park for the first time in weeks. Thanks for your comment on my blog. The boys are both well thank you and Little H is finally sleeping much better so I have my evenings back for sewing and garden planning! Fiona x
