I grew up in a very strict Methodist Church home.We were not allowed to say “Merry Christmas “ as it implied you had been drinking!!
How times change.
We shall be with our daughter and ex husband and our two granddaughters.Looking forward to lots of fun and laughter and making some lovely memories.Hope everyone has a lovely day tomorrow.
Lots of love

Really? Wow. I was brought up Methodist and don't remember that. Maybe it is an individual interpretation. The Methodists were strict teetotallers, of course.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful family day. xx
Have a lovely day:)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you. Hugs, Rose x
ReplyDeleteLovely to hear you too were delighted with oranges, you must be my sort of age? I was brought up Plymouth Brethren, very very strict!
ReplyDeleteI grew up in a Methodist church too, and it wasn't very strict. If it was tee total I didn't know it. Now I am in a nondenominational church.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is strict. I hope you had an enjoyable Christmas.
