I have bought an Ashford weaving loom.I have wanted to try weaving for a long time so took the plunge.I could have gone on a course but it was all day and £50 so decided to try and work it out for myself.I must say I am really chuffed with my first attempt.
Anyone got any tips for me or can recommend a good book with ideas and instructions.
very good. Thank you for sharing!

Nice! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI’ve never tried weaving, I’m very impressed with your though. I thought the first picture was of some fabric you’d bought, it looks really good xx
ReplyDeleteI’m very impressed. It’s something I’ve always fancied having a go at. Well done. B x
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, that's fantastic. Your first effort is excellent, well done. I love the colours.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm looking forward to more photos of your creations.
xx
I know I would enjoy doing it, that's why I've purposely avoided it. I really really don't need or have time for another craft or supplies to go with it. The first picture looked good. What do you plan to make with your weaving? One problem I see with it is, it's not portable. I tucked away my knitting machine for the same reason. Keep thinking I need to get it out, I could do some stuff on it and still do stuff by hand too; but so far haven't managed to do that. I need to get a bit more organized, maybe after the the New Year?
ReplyDeleteHooray! You care going to love it. I have that same loom and it is fantastic. Have fun!
