My finished blanket minus the border.I have enjoyed doing Attic 24 s CAL.Never have I done a blanket so quickly.Back now to "using up my stash" blanket..
I have the pack for the sweet pea blanket and have made a start just doing 2 rows of each colour but on looking at yours finished I think I might change my mind and do the colours like yours. it looks lovely. Briony x
Your blanket is lovely I expect you are like me and looking forward to tomorrow when we finish it, I have really enjoyed crochet it, wonder what Lucy will have for us next.
Thanks so much for your comment on my blog, it's good to be back! Your blanket's beautiful. I'm rubbish at following a pattern, although having said that, I've used Lucy's cosy blanket recipe several times! ;) x
Hi, I've just popped over here from Jess's lovely colorful blog and to see your beautiful knitting etc. You put me to shame as I'm at a time in life when I just knit easy scarves and cowls in half light whilst watching TV/DVD shows! It makes me feel less guilty when sitting down for such long periods! Roll on warmer weather when I'll leave the hearth and cozy throws behind and get moving again.
I love the socks you knit - do you have to use circular needles? I've never used them and don't know if I could get the hang of that mode of knitting.
I'm from Torquay, Devon (not far from Jess across the bay!) but have lived in the US since 1962. Hubby and I hope to come to Wales in the near futures, we have friends in Prestatyn. Will have to be next year though as the travel schedule for this one is just about full - including Torquay to see family and friends this spring - can hardly wait!
Have a great week, and keep those needles clicking, you make the prettiest things.
