Feeling nervous.

As September starts so are U3A groups getting going again albeit with strict rules.OH kicks off with a talk to the Art Appreciation group. His subject is Van Gogh. The Asylum Year. Not having mixed with people, apart from family, for 18 months it feels a little daunting particularly as we have moved house to a new area.We will still go back to our old U3A groups which will be a little easier but again I am nervous.I have been seeing a friend every Friday which has been a lifeline.

I am sure I shall be fine!Barbara

Garden mandalas.

Mandalas are so easy to make and I think they are effective. We only moved in here four months ago.The back garden is mainly hard landscaping with a beds with random shrubs and trees round the outside. We are left with plastic pretend hedging ,awful, and bare fences. We have put in new shrubs but for the time being need something to distract the eye.The top one is hanging as a mobile and the other two are on the fence.(Blogger is playing up and no idea where text and photos are going).

The next two photos are of a tree in the garden but look how far the nasturtium has grown.I never have much luck with them but this  one, just one, has appeared and gone mad.

Need to close now before it all disappears.

Cheers Barbara

Attic 24 Dune blanket.57 colours done.47 to go. I have also just finished a waistcoat, knitted. I am finally settling in our new house. It has been lovely over the holiday to see more of Sarah and Emily and Ruby. I dont know if this will work.br>div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
