ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've been busy. I've read The Familiars by Stacey Halls and really enjoyed it, I've got The Foundling on my bookshelf waiting to be read. I loved Where the Crawdads Sing, such a beautiful book. I'm pleased to hear you're settling in at your new house, it's nice that you're nearer to your family.
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased that you are settling into your new home. It sounds like you have read some interesting book, I never seem to have time to read much. I love the socks and the blanket. Have a peaceful Sunday. xx
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with Stacey Halls, so looked her up on Amazon. Mrs England is not available to us here in Canada until April of 2022. I do love her book covers though. Will have to check out our library to see if I can get some of her earlier books.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara,
ReplyDeleteI am impressed with all your crfat projects! You have been busy-as is fitting for your blog name. The socks are lovely colours. I read 'The Familiars' and quite liked it. The portrayal of womens' lives at that time was really interesting. I am currently reading 'The Mirror and the Light' which is brilliant but long!
