We only see our family every other xmas but this year is the one we see them.We shall travel down to Cambridge on the 23rd Dec to our son's house and stay until 26th or 27th depending on their plans.There will be 12 of us all together.Me and my hubby,our son,his wife and three children,our daughter and husband and their two children plus my brother in law who is over from Kenya.The children are 5,6,7,9 and 13 so I think there will be a lot of noise and excitement.I can't wait.To have everyone together is wonderful.We are so lucky.There must be so many lonely people at this time of year.Last year we celebrated with friends who were also not seeing family and that was fine.
So, what are you doing this year?
Only 3 of us this year but son and partner are coming over after Christmas. I think you will be getting up early on Christmas Day. Enjoy.

Visit to son and partner in Sydney last weekend, early Christmas with my family in Hervey Bay on the weekend before Christmas then Christmas Day here in Brissy with Sally and the rest of Tony's family. Then feet up on Boxing Day and the diet begins !!!!!
ReplyDeleteAt home with my husband and our two cats. We meet up with friends and family before Christmas including last weekend and the next two Saturdays after all the travelling it is nice to be safe and warm at home:)

ReplyDeleteWe're at the stage where suddenly the children are having first Christmas's away from home, with boyfriend's/girlfriend's families, it's going to be very quiet here!
We are going to family, maddy our dog goes too! Just been looking at your pics of Anglesy. We were there early this Summer. Did I say Summer ?!
