A good forecast for today so having had quite a bit of snow here we would venture into Snowdonia.our first stop was Betws y Coed.This torrent of water was amazing.
Looking the other way from the bridge.I managed to buy myself a great waterproof,windproof jacket
while stopped here.
What a disappointment.We had more snow in Mold!The view is still great though.

It was soooo cold.
These were sheep pens at the edge of the lake.Lots of them,all made from stones.
Lunch then called but lots of places were closed.
We drove down towards Caernarvon and then via Bangor to Conway.This is Conway marina where we had lunch in the Mulberry pub.There is a very interesting story from the war about this area,a story for another time.
So much money moored here.
Then onto Conway itself and it's magnificent castle.We also went to the art gallery in Conway.

Yesterday I had my first Debbie Abraham's Blanket Club parcel.I just love the colours and it's cotton.
I have actually done the first square and am thrilled with it.I think this is going to be a good project.

Looks like you had a good day ... we were in the same area on Christmas Eve. We've never seen so much snow!!! We have stayed on the caravan club site at Caernarvon a few times in recent years. There's a nice walk along the coast behind the castle.

Looks like you had a great day! It was sunny here too - we did the anual xmas tree collection for the scout and guide hall so we were glad the rain had moved on! The blanket club looks like it could be fun again this year. Cotton should give you a totally different look and feel. Sx

I lived on Anglesey for the first 25 years of my life and worked in Caernarfon for 3 years after Uni. before meeting my husband and moving to the South East - lovely photographs to remind me of home where my parents both still live. Oh what a lovely outing. We visited Betws y Coed when we were there last. Such a pretty place Aad Conway is one of the best examples of a walled town don't you think? I lve that I know the places that you are talking about.

Those are lovely colours, I don't have the patience for a blanket, I need to 'finish' things quickly or I get bored! I look forward to seeing the other squares materialise.
