I've finished it-well nearly!

I only started this one week ago!It is done in filigran lace no1,100gm,600m,100%merino.

It obviously isn't finished because it needs blocking. Also,I am going to add a beaded fringe on each end.We are going to a party celebrating a special birthday of a close friend in November.I normally don't buy her a present, just send her a card(we don't live close to each other)so I thought this would make a suitable present and she will really appreciate something handmade.

Our house has never been so tidy. The estate agent comes tomorrow to take photographs and then the house, well bungalow, will go on the market.

  2. What a lovely gift! I am sure your friend will be over the moon.

Where are you planning to move to? Do you have a house in mind yet? Good luck with the estate agent I am sure it will go well.

I have no current KAL or CAL's at the moment the sushi shawl along was the project I was planning doing but the pattern was not for me so I may just do another of the orbit shawls as I loved that pattern. Sxx

  3. I'd certainly be very pleased if somebody knitted me one like that - she'll love it! Thanks for popping over to my blog and leaving a comment. Have you ever noticed how many bloggers are retired teachers?! Yes I was one too.

  6. That's a lovely you've made Barbara! I haven't done this sort of work for ages. I'm not sure if I could even do it now! Beautiful colour too. Good luck with the house sale, I hear bungalows sell quite well compared to houses. Jess xx
